VIRTUAL

event

Grief Over Dinner is a virtual grief support gathering. This online space offers people who are navigating loss a place to come together, share stories, and connect with others who understand the experience of grief.

There is no pretending here. No pressure to perform. You are welcome to come exactly as you are in this moment.

Bring your favourite snack or beverage, wear whatever feels comfortable, and if you wish, bring an item that holds special meaning connected to your loved one.

Together, we sit in the honesty of grief; in the depth of our stories and in the quiet spaces between words. This gathering offers a compassionate environment for reflection, conversation, and connection with others who are walking their own path through loss.

Grief is not something to be fixed or hidden here. It is honoured, witnessed, and given space. In the company of strangers, something meaningful often happens. We recognize pieces of our own story in someone else’s. We find understanding instead of pity, open hearts instead of discomfort.

During this virtual grief gathering, participants may share memories, speak the names of those they have lost, or simply listen. Some people talk. Others sit quietly and take it in. Both are welcome.

Because grief, like love, deserves to be witnessed.

WHO THIS GATHERING IS FOR:

This virtual grief gathering is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one and is looking for connection, understanding, and a supportive community. Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, you are welcome here.
